Extended-release LUMRYZ offers patients the opportunity to avoid sleep disruption for a second dose1,2

The FDA has recognized that LUMRYZ provides a “major contribution to patient care”2

The FDA recognized that “LUMRYZ dosing provides an opportunity to minimize sleep fragmentation and disruption of sleep architecture in a way that is not possible for a patient on a twice-nightly dosing regimen of oxybate.”2

It notes that this is medically relevant because the goal of treating patients with sleep disorders is to restore a normal sleep pattern and a healthier sleep physiology.2

LUMRYZ was granted ODE status on October 16, 2024, because the FDA determined that the once-nightly dosing of LUMRYZ constituted a major contribution to patient care.2
